Svalbard is an unusual Map because of its content: it is the land of the far North, which has not been explored by the average tourist. It is also the mysterious depths of the surrounding water.
The map is quite a treat for connoisseurs (and dreamers!). 
 
The round shape makes it wonderfully presented in the bedroom or living room, hung above the sofa, preferably in the company of other Island Maps. Turquoise, which contrasts with the soft beige of the plywood, enhances its clarity and the impression of real depth. It is hand polished, painted and glued from 10 layers of wooden plywood and has a hole for hanging.
